12 Days Until 12 Days: Day 12- Get Flexy Challenge

The Rules / Info:

From December 7th until December 19th, we will be posting a mini-CrossFit (or Nevermore related) Challenge each day. The challenge will be posted on the blog 10PM the night before. You will have from 6AM until the new challenge posts at 10PM to complete and log the challenge as needed.

All challenges can be completed by our athletes in the gym or at home.

Each challenge will have a certain number of tickets you will be able to earn, for completing or winning the challenge!  Those tickets will go towards prizes you can enter for. The winner for the prizes will be announced Wednesday, December 23rd!

Prizes Include:

  • 3- 30 min. Personal Training Sessions with Steve
  • 3- 30 min Mobility Sessions for you and 2 friends with Kristin
  • A nutrition consultation & 1 month of Nutrition with KP
  • A 1 Hour Massage with Angie

DAY 12 CHALLENGE

  • GET FLEXY!
    • Complete 15-minutes of Mobility (and, no, the class warm-up doesn’t count!).
        • Kristin has put together a 15 Minute Mobility EMOM sequence, in case you need some extra help – but you can also do your own!
        • Complete it and log it when you’re done!
      • Another member MUST validate that you completed it, so find your mobility buddy and get it done together!
      • Once you’ve completed it, log you’ve completed it on Chalk It Pro under “Mobility Challenge”, and under notes comment who your Mobility Accountability Buddy was! 
        • You and your accountability buddy will get 2 tickets each!

Mobility session:

  • Every Minute on the Minute for 15 Min:
    • Google search the movements, and they’ll come up!)
  1. Minute 1: Cat / Cow Flow
  2. Minute 2: Scorpion Rotations (slow)
  3. Minute 3: Pigeon (elevated pigeon / on back are fine) – Right Leg
  4. Minute 4: Pigeon (elevated pigeon / on back are fine) – Left Leg
  5. Minute 5: Hurdler Stretch – Right Leg
  6. Minute 6: Hurdler Stretch – Left Leg
  7. Minute 7: Seated Straddle Stretch
  8. Minute 8: Piriformis Stretch – Right
  9. Minute 9: Piriformis Stretch – Left
  10. Minute 10: Doorway Stretch (shoulder / chest) – Right Arm
  11. MInute 11: Doorway Stretch (shoulder / chest) – Left Arm
  12. Minute 12: Wall Tricep Stretch – Right
  13. Minute 13: Wall Tricep Stretch – Left
  14. Minute 14: 90 / 90 Stretch
  15. Minute 15: Child’s Pose or Legs Up The Wall
