  • All four teams had 5+ people on this week’s Zoom Livestream Announcement of 21.1, so ALL TEAMS got an easy 5 points! Way to go, everyone! Let’s do it again this week!!

Congrats to all of our top athletes for Week 1!  To prevent lots of questions: We took the top 30% for each level score logged in the Google Form, and that’s how we reached this conclusion.  We had more people register than anticipated (YAY!!), so we upped the top percentage (from 20%-30%) so 20 athletes were able to score as top athletes.

SPIRIT OF 21.1 WINNER!

This person was OVERWHELMINGLY voted on by the Nevermore community for “Spirit of 21.1” – by both the members, and the Coaching Staff.  Some of the members wrote some awesome things like:

  • “Her first Open with Nevermore and she came to all the classes today. With donuts and cheering on everyone. Also her Kiss outfit was wild.”
  • “Amazing captain who came to every class to cheer on her team and finished the night in full KISS ensemble and make up.”

  • “She came to every class to cheer on everyone and her costume was great!!!”

 Our winner this week is: DIANA BEAN! 

  • Diana showed up to EVERY SINGLE CLASS to cheer on athletes, all day long – she brought donuts to the 6am, and TRULY rocked out that costume at Friday Night Lights.  She helped out and judged MANY athletes throughout the day, she KILLED her first EVER CrossFit Open workout, and really represented every part of LAUGH, MOVE, GROW.

RUNNER UP:

  • While we don’t give points to runner up – we did want to make mention of the SECOND most voted on member of the week (and it was CLOSE!), STACY REYNOLDS! Members had awesome things to say:

    • “Because she is awesome!!!”

TEAM SPIRIT WINNER!

While we had two teams who TRULY embodied the 21.1 Rock & Roll Team Spirit this week, one took home the GOLD…

HOW?!: Decorating Thursday night, making sure EVERY MEMBER of the team was represented through awesome posters at both locations, bringing the enthusiasm and showing up BIG Friday morning, bringing energy at FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, and even showing up to support athletes who tried again (and did it for the first time) on Sunday. 

WHO?!: Shout out to the winners this week, the “KINGS (and Queens) OF THE TURF”! 

Way to set the bar high, and bring the Team Spirit for 21.1!

RUNNER UP: While the runner up doesn’t get any points – shout out to “ALWAYS MOORE” for their Zoom Backgrounds at the announcement on Thursday night, their gigantic signs at Friday Night Lights, and those delicious treats (crazy pop-“rock” Jell-O shots) on Friday Night! Keep bringing the Spirit!!
